It is vary sad to hear of Sandy's passing, as he meant alot to me in my schooling. From a vary young age, i had social anxiety and depression and had to stop going to school for a while. Sandy started doing classes with me, after school when there were little to no students around. Soon, i went to his class for students with different issues or learning disabilities. To say i was nervous would be a understatement, but Sandy made it vary enjoyable and i feel i would not have, at the age of 18, graduated with an adult diploma from Tantramar Regional High School.
Im now 30, soon to be 31, and i still remember him fondly. To his family whom i never met, i can only hope you take pride and comfort in the aid he gave to people like me. And just remember, you have not lost him, you just now have him with you, always and forever :) .
