John was an inspiring, capable political leader who led CBRM through a very tough times. CBRM was born of desperation, not inspiration, but John led in the very best sense of the word. I salute your integrity, your insight and your perseverance in adversity. Well done, John Coady.

My sincere condolences to the families of John; he was one of my favourite teachers in high school at Sydney Mines High. I will always forget our classes, our interactions on Facebook and messages. It was an honor to know John during my high school days and later in life. Rest In Peace John.....you will always be remembered.
