I am so sorry to learn of Karen/ your mom’s passing. The times we spent on bleachers and at the arena together over the years always were filled with laughter, stories, cheering, and encouraging words for young people. Her friendly ways and beautiful smile made a person feel just a little bit better when they left her company. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Janet and I were blessed with a great discussion around an unpleasant situation in the Chemo suite in Fergus.. we walked in and this lady with a mask on was waving frantically at us. We didn’t know who it was until we got closer. Her smile and words of promise for all of us taking Chemo was wonderful. She told us this was her last treatment in that session and was looking forward to getting the corn off and participating in the “aunts” shower. We will all miss that smile, Rest In Peace.
