Judy, John Jr, and Angie - it has been 4 months since my dear friend has passed - and I have just learned of it now! (Pony Express is often slow - as only John himself would say!) . Suffice to say that we were very close in many ways, especially for our dedication to the different sports we loved and played together. Also the four of us and our children (same ages) , were not only neighbors in Southwood Park, but dear friends as well. We savored our genuine (home) times together. I knew that John had been suffering for a long time - but had no idea about the scope of his illness. To say that I am shattered today about John's death is heart-breaking. My love goes out to you all! RIP John - I'll have a private 'sip'on my deck in NL for you!
