The Scoates family is profoundly saddened by the passing of Howard. Our association goes back to Winnipeg days and amazing dinners shared by a group of friends. Howard and Jeannie were an integral part of those dinners. After some of the group left Winnipeg for eastern Canada the dinners continued in Toronto, Ottawa, and Sudbury. Many fond memories of everybody talking at once and particularly much laughter. We send our heartfelt condolences to Jeannie and family on the loss of this wonderful man. We still hear his laughter.
