Through my friendship with Carol I have met and enjoyed the company of Bill for a number of years. I could not imagine a more friendly, open-hearted and generous man. His good humour was infectious and lit up the room wherever he was. His family must miss the warm spirit that he carried within him, and I feel for them with their loss, but they can take comfort in a life well-lived and his love lives on within them.
