My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family. Carl was one of the nicest neighbours I had the pleasure of getting to know when I was a child growing up in Mystic. His jolly nature and aperture for joking always put a smile on my face. His kindness toward my family is something I will always remember and be grateful for. It touched my heart that he and Anderson bonded over their mutual love for trains. I can still hear my late father recounting childhood memories of playing with his buddy Carl on Walbridge Road. Caroline and Jonathan, you were the apples of your father’s eyes, as were your children. We will remember him with great fondness.
