To Mike's family, so sad to hear the news. Mike and I along with Don Smith were the first members of a new group formed in Petrosar in 1981 called the Instrument Electrical Reliability group. We shared an office so we knew a lot about each others family's. One day I arrived at the office early and Mike was already there, when I asked Why he told me he was working on a home project (he was too professional to do that on his own time) . He told me he was concerned about his Dad as he was an early riser and had to cross the yard in the dark every morning to get to the barn. The project was to install a system that would automatically put the lights on as his Dad crossed the yard. This was typical of Mike always very thoughtful. He will be missed. Bill & Liz Shankly
