I have known your Mom & Dad for many years and their great love for each other earned my respect and your Dad's support during my husband's illness made me appreciate his incomparable skill as a palliative care doctor.

I first met David and Heather 30 years ago when we were all on the steering committee to establish a transition house for abused women on the South Shore. Over the years I have seen David professionally in his capacity as a palliative care physician. I was always struck by his great devotion to his work, his warmth and a wonderful sense of humor. Tragic and terrible loss for all of us.
