Ed was a deacon at Bradford Baptist Church, the first church where I was a pastor. I came to know and love him as a humble man-of-God and as a friend. His wisdom and faith were often evidenced in Board meetings. He often challenged us to think beyond the practical and move forward in faith. I was blessed to have him as part of the leadership team.
