I am very saddened to learn of Tom's unexpected passing, being unaware of any illness he was facing.
Tom was installing a cupboard in my home when my late wife talked him into taking a role in her production of "Brigadoon." He sang beautifully. During the performance, i happened to be sitting behind some ladies in the audience. After Tom sang "Come To Me, Bend To Me", I distinctly heard the ladies sigh with the pleasure of hearing him sing that song. Tom went on to sing in other Rotary Club musicals. Most assuredly, he is now a member of a heavenly choir, possibly under my late wife's direction.
