Gary "Slim" Hurley (The Mayor of Mimico)

Don't call me Gary, the names Slim, he would say.

Slim was a give'r. He would give anyone a hand, he would give anyone his time, but one thing for sure he could get it done and have fun doing it.
Honest as they come, proud and strong. Never let you down and always on time. 15 minutes early is late, was Slim's line to the green horns this year. Hahaha

Slim loved his Kids and talked about them all the time. He was a great Dad and friend. He talked about the fun times he had with the kids camping every summer and how they were becoming hard working young adults.

I could call Slim at 8 pm and say lets go fishing at 5:30 am and he would be waiting.
Slim would get up at 5:00 am in the morning and shovel snow for the old folks in his neighborhood and show up to the shop at 8am with coffee.

Slim is dearly missed by all who have known Him.
