A lady of class. My aunt alma was all of that and more.. A wonderful aunt who always treated me like a daughter... Amazing big heart. Wonderful at welcoming all into their home. My fond memories are many but I share only three.
the time I graduated from high school she invited m to th city to pick out my grad dress seeing there was nothing suitable in gander or Grand falls. Greeting me at the bus station taking me all over St. John's just to pick out my grad dress was such a great memory for me. We choose it together to perfection in her classy way... Even with matching color purse too. Then in my colleges years many tims she and uncl joe would invite me and my friends over for jigs dinner or a fish and brews, I always felt lovd and welcomed. Then later in life after marriage and family she embassy my husband and sons like her own. And hen Aden would visit she would hand him a dollar and say now buy something special with that..no junk food but save it for something nice... With a kiss and a hug she would tell us all how much she loved us and missed us and how she longed for us to visit again soon. Well today my sweet aunt you are in Gods presence happy and healthy.. Reunite with siblings and family and friends. I say God speed to you in your journey.. It is not goodbye aunt alma like we always said in life but see. u soon... Love always and forever.
