We are sending our deepest condolences on the passing of Aunt and Great Aunty Kathryn. She was a lady that lived a lifetime full of joy and laughter! There was never a moment when she was near that I wasn't glued to her side, listening intently, and enjoying every moment. To watch the magic inter-play between siblings was just amazing. One would start a lovingly remembered story, and the rest of the siblings, including my Grandpa, would chime in and share what they knew about it. I can only imagine what it was like to be born in 1908 and live through until 2016. The very changes just keeping up with the rapidly changing world, would have made my head spin. Not Auntie Kathryn! She adapted to change as well as any of us, and if it did not suit her, she moved onward without it. She was the epitome of style and grace, love and laughter. She will be very sadly missed always. Much love, the Skillen Family.
