I met Dennis while attending Western in the 60's working as a waiter at the Ceeps. He would come in with a bunch of his standardbred friends, buy a bunch of Molson products for them, in a Labatt's town, have a few laughs and leave. He was always really generous to me, a starving student. We went to Windsor Raceway for a day, night card with Wes Coke, Ron Fegan and Peter Tibideau, all great standardbred drivers. Dennis was good enough to mark my program for me. Needless to save I had a great day and came home with enough money to help pay my rent for the month. Riggin Family I have great memories of Dennis and will always appreciate him, not only as the best goalie I ever saw as a Junior, but the friendship and advice he gave me on life. Rest in Peace Dennis.
