“We learned of Karen's passing on Wednesday with great sadness. Her positive attitude and sense of humour, during both good times and adversity, were an example for us all. Karen's passion for teaching and her impact on her pupils and colleagues will be her enduring legacy. Her passing on the last day of the school year is especially symbolic for us.
