Don, thinking of you at this sad time. Also annual third Sunday in August gatherings at Allan and Sheila’s come to mind. You and Liz were always there. For me, these times were super and I felt as much a part of the gang as Herb did. Now you begin to live life without Liz as I live life without Herb. Allan’s mum would say that she lived alone but was not lonely. That has been my goal since Herb died. Knowing that he would want me to live life, I was never “outwardly” in mourning.
