Norm Minor
It is with a saddened heavy heart to hear the recent passing of Norm Minor, a good friend and respected mentor to me.
Thoughts and condolences go out to Fern and family at this time.
In 1988, I purchased land on Deere Lake at the end of Summer Road. Being new to this area and in my early twenties I set off to introduce myself to residents on Boundary Road. I pulled into Norm and Fern’s and after a brief introduction I was seated at their table for lunch. Norm would always share his knowledge about maintaining a chainsaw, falling trees, cutting wood, maple syrup, hunting, snowmobile repairs or just life in general. He had many interesting stories of growing up in the area that I always enjoyed hearing. I have been very fortunate to have known Norm and I am truly honored and grateful for everything he has shown and done for me.
I know Norm lives on in part of me and also lives on in those who were blessed to have known him.
