I first met Agnes while she was attending Putnam Catholic Academy in Putnam, Connecticut, U.S. and living with my Grandparents, Esther and Henry DuBois. I believe this was in late 1940's or early 1950's. She was attending PCA that year to improve her English. My Mother Vilda (DuBois) Mathurin and Agnes became good friends. Over the years we visited her at her parents'home in Contre Coeur, as well as her visiting us in Putnam. I believe, as a boy of seven, I had a boyhood crush for her. The last time I saw Agnes was around 1988 when I was visiting Montreal with my wife and young son. We drove to Contre Coeur and had lunch with her. Where doers time go? She was a sweet and kind person and will be greatly missed! From Sharon, Seth, Jordan and my self, our deep and heartfelt condolence on your loss!
