We at Williams Bros Growers send our deepest condolences to Family/Friends of Fergus G Holland, affectionately known as "Fergie".. Reading his obituary warmed our hearts as as the words that were written describe this great man so eloquently.. We have stood at the Burlington mrkt for 30years, and there have been good mangers for sure, but none compared to our Fergie.. Who constantly went above & beyond for all us vendors.. He use to walk over to Denningers (when it was across the way) to pick up bread so the hut and cook could make delicious food for all of us and the customers too.. On the really hot days, he would push a shopping cart up and down filled with cold water checking on everyone to make sure we all stayed hydrated.. And on the cooler days of Fall, I would offer my extra jacket to him, but he seemed to like the cooler air.. He took so much pride in letting everyone kno in the neighborhood about the mrkt.. He had a way with people and a good sense of interaction.. There will never be another soul like Fergie, God Bless his memory, as we will never forget him.. Theres so much more to be said about this wonderful man, so much more.. To his Daughters/families you were indeed his pride and joy he loved you dearly and was very proud of you.. God Bless you all as you must come together and do your best to keep going forward.. As so much uncertainty surrounds us all, truly hoping you all have continued good health both mentally and physically.. Your Friends always Brian and Nina Williams Bros Growers..
