I wish to offer my condolences to the family. I have many cherished memories from senior public school and early high school of hanging out with Glenn, and visiting his sister and nieces at the farm where we launched toy rockets we had built, etc. I also recall the two of us heading to St Matthews church every week for the midweek service as part of our confirmation classes where Glenn did his best to make me laugh out loud and embarrass myself. I think that's the only time in my life I've ever laughed through my nose. I tried my best to maintain self control, but that only made the process more irresistable to Glenn.
He was always full of energy, looking to entertain, and a bit of a prankster. Although our paths only crossed for a short period of time in our lives, he made a lasting impression. I also remember him telling me (at what was such an early stage in our lives) about his own goals in life and the importance to him of finding the right person to share his life and start a family. That made a strong impression on me as he seemed to have such a clear sense of direction as to what he wanted to achieve in life. I am glad to hear that his ambitions were realized.
