I was in the same form as Gordon when I went to Lowestoft Grammar School in 1957. Twenty years later, when I was living in Taplow, Bucks, I met him by chance in Maidenhead. I invited him and his family to what was almost an 'Old Lowestoftians'reunion, with two other ex pupils who lived nearby. He seemed so very happy with his wife and his young family. I am so sorry to learn of his passing.
