Bruce Cronk was a gentle giant of a man that I first met when I was a young trainee in medicine at Queen's in the 1960's.
His splendid character, wise counsel and superb "doctoring" served as a laudable role model for us all.
When I returned to Queen's on faculty in 1972 I was priviledeged to care for some of the patients he referred to me in Kingston.
He asked penetrating questions and always provided you with a comprehensive dossier as background. This inevietably challenged me to provide the best possible responses out of admiration and respect for the nature of the question he asked.
His many good works, kind demeanour and generous spirit are a great model for us all.
I have made a donation to "doctors without borders" in his memory
