My sincerest condolences to the Gorkoff family. In remembering my uncle Jack, I am overcome with beautiful childhood memories. Such as summers spent participating in fishing derbies at Madge Lake. Using frogs for bait as our secret to success. Even though I had my quandaries about using the frogs for bait, I must admit I had a lot of fun catching them in the early morning before the big fishing trip. If only you knew how many times I thought about freeing those poor frogs. Backyard bbq's cooking Shishkali (Russian shish kebabs) over a half barrel filled with coals & gathering with family. Through those journeys you taught me patience, respect for nature & the importance of family traditions. We will miss you!
