Tessa, I was thinking about Tommy this evening! I remember at the time I didn’t see a place to reply; condolences. So, I procrastinated for a long time, thinking I’d reach out and soon get in touch with you! It’s been 6 yrs!!! I sent and couldn’t find an option to edit. I meant to say “ I was so saddened” Your dad will always be in my heart! Margaret

Dear Tessa, I am sport to learn of your dad’s passing. I learned a few years ago. I was an old friend of his. I just loved him. I met him in 1963 or 1964 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We were friends and would reconnect through the years! I spent a week with he and family in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1978. I was on my way to California. We had a great time! His hospitality was only surpassed by his kindness. We saw each other again in Laguna Beach in 1979. Then, again my brother and he all connected in Santa Monica. When he was living in San Diego, I was working in Santa Monica. I would visit him there on my days off. So many memories!! I was trying to get in touch with him, when I found out about his passing. My brother, at that time was living in Vancouver; trying to find him. I think of him often. He was one of those people in my life who made a lasting impression on me. I still miss him. I saw a pic of you ; can see such a resemblance. I’m not on Face Book, or would connect with you. I’m so happy to hear he had a daughter; the write up shows “he was so proud” of you ! This warms my heart. The last time I saw Tommy (name I called him, since we met) , was in 1983, in California. He was such a great talent, and was in a band called the “ Bad Cedes” in Halifax. Everyone loved that band and him as well. One of the members, Brian Ahern, went on to become one of the biggest producers ; Emmy Lou Harris, Johnny Cash, Ringo Star, Keith Richards. I’m sure you’ve heard this! I really want you to know what a special soul he was; unforgettable. He truly was one of the kindest and unique characters I’ve met in my almost 76 years on earth. With you Tessa, his spirit lives on. Most sincerely, Margaret Ann Rouse❤️😇
