I was deeply saddened when I was told of Dougs passing. I was one one of the psws that looked after him and loved the time I spent with him. We had lively chats about hockey which we both loved. He was always a pleasant, respectful and funny guy. I am so saddened I was off work because of an injury so I hadn't spent time with him in a while. He was one of my favourite residents and I will always remember and miss him. My heart goes out to the family. It was very nice to spend time with his daughter Cheryl when she came to visit. Told me that the whole family must be lovely because she was. Please know that your father was a wonderful man and left a lasting impression on me.
