Uncle Dick was a much-loved and cherished Uncle and Great-Uncle to me and my son Cris. Uncle Dick loved swimming in the rivers, lakes and oceans-swimming Hurculean distances and cutting no slack for those younger and smaller. Fast driving, too, was a challenge-again, cutting no slack, and always chuckling with delight. Uncle Dick was gregarious, loved a corny joke, and will be remembered always.
