Dear Betty and all of the family, The news of the passing of your dear sister and auntie, Ann Marie reached me this morning just in time to be able to participate virtually at her funeral. I want to extend to you my condolences. A new star has arisen in heaven and leaves a huge hole in our hearts here on earth. She was in the monastery in MIssion, BC when I entered there and we lived together in community for only two years prior to her leaving for Alexandria, ON. In those two years however, the peacefulness of her beauty made such an impression on me... and, may I say her wit! She was quick and always right on... and funny. A beloved soul was she. I am grateful that she was a part of my life. May each of you be blessed in your own lives and know in your grief and loss that my prayers are with you. Thank you, Betty, for making it possible for me to take part in the funeral Mass.
