My wife Aminata, my son Alpha and I just read the sad news of the death of Dr Eben. We had known Dr Eben, his wonderful wife Flavia, back in 2004 when our son was hospitalized in Fredericton. We express our deep condolences to the family

My deepest sympathy to Flavia and her children for their huge loss. It is with profound sadness that I learn that Eben has passed away. I have known Eben since we were PhD students at Queen's. Eben is one of the most decent, helpful, patient, genuine and bright persons whom I have been lucky to meet in life. We have co-authored research papers together and I am always looking forward to see him at conferences. Eben, you will truly be missed by all the people whom you have touched and inspired in your life journey. Rest in Peace in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with Flavia and her family.
