Joe was a Great Man, his gruff manner disguised a true empathy for others that alongside his Lady Claudette, Son Herb and daughter Lu Lu saved my life after I was crippled for life as a paratrooper in the Airborne Regiment.

Dozens of surgerys, meant an equal amount of hospital visits by Joe, as well as countless meals with the family- All combined to allow me to heal and survive.
