I have a special place in my heart for Mrs Walsh (Hilda) , my grade one teacher in Douro. She is forever engraved in my mind as a beautiful, kind, intelligent and gentle lady who gave me such a love for learning. When I would encounter Hilda, even when she was in an emergency ward in the hospital, her conversation always revealed a sincere interest in my life rather than her own trials. My life has been positively influenced by this remarkable lady. May God grant you all his peace and grace.
