Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom, Don. Our heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. It sounds like she is leaving quite a legacy.....

I’m Very sad for all of you in your great loss of such a beautiful, virtuous mother, grandmother and great grandmother. To me as a kid growing up on the 10th of Bruce, Betty was a wonderful neighbour and friend to our family who also happened to be related to us. Although she wasn’t ever my teacher, she was the kind of one I or anyone would have wanted - because as I understand, discipline wasn’t usually an issue. Her kind and caring along with her no nonsense type of approach left no desire to test her, but simply respect her. What a rare quality in such a profession! What a legacy and what memories for many to treasure!
