We met Mert in 1965 when we moved to Wolfville (the most beautiful town in N.S.) . I was the phys-ed teacher and my wife Mary was a nurse at EKMH. We met Connie first. We had the same philosophy of sports. He introduced us to Mert. We knew from the start that they were made for each other.. She was a very friendly, outgoing lady with a love for family and friends. Mert and Connie enjoyed a "ment-to-be" relationship and now they are together once again. My wife and I send our sincerest condolences to all family and friends. Eric and Mary Oickle, Bridgewater.
