Dear Jean, Eleanor and I wish to pass along our condolences to you and all members of your family.
I was so fortunate in 1964 to be transferred to Beaumonde Heights School. Bill Praskey was an excellent role model and mentor! In addition he became a lifelong friend, for which I will be forever grateful.
Bill had a wonderful way with people. He always made students, staff and colleagues feel special. After meeting with him you always worked a little harder, walked a little faster, held your head a little higher and smiled a lot more.
Our four children couldn't wait for Bill and Jean to visit. Jean would come laden with "goodies" and Bill would want to see the skates and hockey sticks they were using that winter. What other adult was interested in those things! And, of course, he had a nickname for everyone.
You will be missed, Bill, but we are so happy that you passed our way! Bill McIntosh
