It was with great sadness that I heard the news today that Stan had passed away. I recall vividly the great memories I have of Stan in the seventies and early eighties. I remember racing with him side by side on weekends and competing with him through the week to see who could build the best engine. Stan was an intense racer and an expert race engine builder who used his down-to-earth intuition to best us all. I always looked forward to seeing Stan and his young son Ian on weekends. He will be dearly missed. Godspeed Stan !
