It is with such sadness that I heard of the passing of Sharon. She was a person who cared deeply about education, about helping others and about doing what was right and fair for all. I knew her through her involvement in the NSTU and witnessed her passion for social justice issues and public education. On a lighter side I also remembered laughing at a comment she made when she was about to retire when she said how she'll miss the kids but....had only one more Halloween party.
