My deepest sympathy to the family of this dear, sweet lady. Irene became like another mother to me since getting to know her and Don when I began attending Kingston Baptist Church. Her and Don's gracious hospitality always made me feel right at home when I visited and they always offered a continuous invitation to my Mom and I at Christmas for one of their "big spreads." I will miss my times visiting Irene and singing through the whole hymnal together. She couldn't always see the words but knew them all by heart. Her joyful spirit and sense of humor made those times special! Thank you Samara for the care you gave to Irene over the last two years and especially the last days of her life. My love to you all at this time.
