Uncle Pete you wil be most dearly and profoundly missed by everyone whom knew you. You were one of the many bothers to my father-in-law Jake and you were perhaps the most like him. You embodied a kind spirit and embraced an infectious laugh. We saw each other only one or two times a year, mainly at the family picnic held at my farm in Brantford for over thirty years. You were probably the best horseshoe tosser and I always hoped to get you for a partner when competing fot the Klassen Horseshoe Trophy. Like my father-in-law you aways had a bank of stories to share, and just like him I am certain there was an element of exaggeration.
Uncle Pete what I admired most about you is your ardent and faithful love of God. I was so fortunate to marry Diane and be part of such a wonderful extended family and I pray that you will say "hello" to Diane and give her a hug for me when in Heaven. Tell her I miss her incredibly much..
You enriched my life and I am so thankful I knew you,
