I recently learned of Nelson’s passing from my brother Emerson of New Glasgow NS. I am a first cousin to Nelson but lived what seemed like lightyears away in Nova Scotia so rarely met that arm of our family. When I retired from the RCMP (Manitoba) we settled near my last posting, Winnipeg. As young kids visiting our kin in St John I recall Nelson as being very kind to us. He would have been a teenager during those few visits. Our sincere condolences and well wishes are extended to Nelson’s family and close friends. Kindest regards.
