I have been greatly blessed and so lucky to have been fortunate enough to have this amazing and very much cherished woman in my life. Ma tante Jeannine. I have so many special memories of our times together.... Picking strawberrys and making jam. Being out in the potatoe fields with you when I was just a little girl. Learning the true meaning of hard work and the rewards that came with it. Going to church on sundays in that big beautiful red car. Getting fresh milk. Going to the cottage and swimming in the lake. You bought me my first 45 record in French. Gathering fire flys in a mason jar on a hot summers night by the front porch and calling it my " flash light " You never ever forgot a Birthday or a Christmas card even when I got older and moved so far away. All those amazing home cooked meals with my cousins sitting around the big table. And the weddings ! those fun filled memorable weddings ! The rides on the tractor to and from the fields, I can still smell the rich earth beneath my feet from those special days. You worked so hard all your life, you looked after so many of us, allways putting others first before yourself. You were always - always patient and kind. Never once did I see or hear anger in your voice. Your life was a gift to all of us who are lucky enough to have known you. I will miss you dearly and with all of my heart thank you for being a special part of my life. Sleep well my beautiful Matante Jeannine, I will miss you more than words can ever say. xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
