To all of Sterlings family, Its with much sadness we send our sincere condolence on losing a kind, generous "good" man.I knew Sterling for over fifty years, since my growing up days in Curling, and when I worked at Bank of Montreal in Curling.
He always had a ready smile, and often a good joke to tell.
He will be missed by many.

Sterling or 'Uncle Sterling', as my younger sister and I referred to him as, was the brother of my grandfather, Len Randell and the uncle of my father, Alan Randell. He and my grandfather were very close so I had the privilege of spending a lot time around him when I was younger. From what I remember of Uncle Sterling, he was a great man, who had a great sense of humour and a lot of respect from those who knew him. Although I have not seen him for some years now, I have always wondered how he was doing or what he was up to. This is why it brings me great sadness today to hear of his passing and my condolences go out to all of his immediate family and close friends.

RIP Uncle Sterling
