I would like to offer my sincere condolences and prayers to Gilles'loved ones at this difficult time. Gilles was a very personable person with a great sense of humour who always let you know exactly where you stood with him. I very much enjoyed my times playing with and against Gilles in the Aylmer Intermediate Hockey League and the several levels of Aylmer Thirty Plus Hockey. In the various tournaments where we played together one could always be certain that he would give a maximum effort as he wanted to win with a passion. I know something occurred a year or two ago where he was unable to continue playing hockey (his major raison d'etre) , but, if there is life after death, something we are all counting on, Gilles will be suiting up for any team that needs a very good centerman. Maybe Bernie Schryburt or some of the other Aylmer players we have lost over the past few years are holding a spot open for him. Once again I offer my sincere condolences and my prayers to his love ones. Peter
