My sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one. The last time I saw him was in 1978 when I was on my military training in Nova Scotia. I was in Fredericton on a weekend pass and we ran into him at the Boat Club. We shared a few stories, ate lobster and had a few beer. I did not get to see him much after his divorce from my Aunt Catherine, so my memories are few, but those I have are of a funny, outgoing person. He enjoyed life. Again my deepest condolences.
