We Forans have the very good fortune of a strong sense of family. Aunt Pat contributed to the diversity and the drive of the family. As a youth I remember stories of her swimming prowess (once going from Dalhousie Junction across the Bay Chaleur to the Quebec side then back) . I am told she was a bit of a "Tom Boy" growing up between Jack, Martin Jr. & Dave; the first time my mother met her, Pat asked her "Do you want to go shoot rats at the dump after dinner?" Pat liked the outdoors and even spent some time up in Alaska. Most of all, I remember all of us going down the Restigouche River, canoe camping with her during a family reunion.
Pat excelled as an artist. Her works were a joy to have around the house, to exhibit with pride. I will remember all the good times we shared.
We will all miss her, it was our good fortune to call her family & friend.

Pat was one of my very best friends, and when we were growing up, her home, was my second home. We kept in touch, for many years, even though our paths often took us in different directions. Sincerest sympathy to Dave, Johanna and her family. She will be in my thoughts forever.
