You were the best teacher and friend I've ever had the opportunity to be taught by. We remained in contact throughout the years but I'm wishing I told you just how much of an imprint you made in my life. Thank you for all the coffee dates and wonderful conversations. Rip Mme Gendreau.

I was Nicole's principal and had the privilege of working with Nicole for ten years at St. Kateri School in Kitchener. Nicole had a deep passion for teaching children and especially cared for those students who were most marginalized. Throughout her time there she made a lasting impression on many of the students she taught. Nicole will be deeply missed by the many staff and students who shared the St. Kateri part of her journey. Thank you Nicole for the difference you made. Rest in peace.

Nous connaissons Nicole depuis plusieurs années ici à Kitchener. En tant que personne attentionnée, elle a toujours pensé d'abord à ses élèves et aux autres. Elle a travaillé en étroite collaboration avec notre église lorsque nous avons collecté des fonds pour la construction d'un puits en Haïti afin de fournir de l'eau potable à un village à la campagne. Elle nous manquera mais nous sommes assurés et confiants qu'elle est maintenant avec son Seigneur et Sauveur Jésus-Christ. We have known Nicole for a number of years here in Kitchener. As a caring person she always thought of her students first and of others. She worked closely with our church as we raised funds for the building of a well in Haiti to provide safe drinking water for a villge in the countryside. She will be missed but we are assured and confident that she is now wth her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Nicole Gendreau était une bonne amie du pasteur Helen et de moi-même. Nous l'avons connue pour être une personne généreuse en pensant à ses étudiants et à d'autres alors que nous travaillions ensemble pour collecter des fonds pour le forage de puits en Haïti. Elle restera dans les mémoires.

Quelle triste nouvelle. C’était ma compagne d'autobus au secondaire 5 pendant le trajet quotidien Port-Cartier / Sept-Îles vers l’IESI. C’était ma première année à cette école avec un lot d’inconnus. Elle était là tous les matins avec un bonjour, le sourire et la bonne humeur. Merci pour ton amitié Nicole, tu nous quittes trop vite. Mes sympathies à toute la famille.
