Palanica

Looking back on my friendship with Ken Palanica, it really started in our teenage years. Our families knew each other through our Church activities at St. Josaphat Cathedral in West Toronto. Specifically it was the parish's Youth Club where we really got to know each other despite being his being 3 years younger. We were involved with Club activities such as sporting events, meetings, dances, Christmas caroling and getting to know more teenagers as ourselves and welcoming them to the Youth Club. Later we advanced our get togethers with theme parties in parents basements, outdoor activities at friends cottages and this would progress to meeting throughout our married lives and raising our children with more memories. Rest in peace my good friend!
