Laying in the tall grass, pointing out shapes in the clouds. Picking wild strawberries and making home made jam. Always having unlimited ginger snap cookies. The smell of fresh laundry hanging on the clothes line. Finding the most unusual sea shells on the beach. These are just a few of the memories I have of time spent in Gaspe with my grandma. She was a true child at heart. She loved games and music and company and laughs. I was her ‘peach’. And I am so unbelievably grateful I had her in my life. She will be so greatly missed.
