My husband Randy worked with Alain for many years at the help desk at Pratt and Whitney. I started to see Alain in 2000 for all of our used cars. Before seeing him I would diagnose our car and he would reply Mais our l'anglaise comme si tu connais ca, and if it didnt need repairs he didnt do it. And if most mechanics would call it scrap he would do the minimum to keep it on the road. I loved, as a friend and we both loved bugging each other. I will miss him sooooooo much. No one these days tells the truth about car repairs. No one argues with you about what you know. I can honestly say he is one of the few men I loved and adored. He had diffuculty showing his emotions unless you looked in his eyes. Karel, if your dad never told you he was sooo proud of his girl and he loved his grandson. All the best.
