Bougadis

We didn't get to see our relatives in Canada and Greece, very much. When we did, Thea Maria welcomed us with genuine love and warmth...and delicious meals. I have fond memories of spending time with her and Theo Strati, in Sparti and Toronto, where we stayed in their respective homes, enjoying family time and lots of laughter. (Like the time Thea tried to, humorously, convince my vegan sister to eat moussaka and when she sent me and Theo out, on an orange juice adventure, just before a cousin's wedding.) She was a light in our world and I feel blessed to have known her. Sending love, and deepest condolences, to Theo Strati, Billy, Kosta and all of Thea Maria's loved ones—particularly the grandchildren, whom I know she treasured.
