Our sincerest sympathies go out to Jeff's loved ones on his recent passing, from Denise Johnston and Pat Carter (Gallinger) . I have fond memories of Jeff from my childhood. Whenever we went to Chesley for a visit we had to go see Jeff and his pony. When my parents moved back to Chesley for my last year of High School I was the new girl in town. One day I was sitting in the dairy bar and started talking to another girl. I was about to tell her my name, when a car pulled up to the front of the dairy bar. This girl was so excited, telling me the guy in the car was one of the hottest guys around. It was Jeff in the drivers seat and when he came into the dairy bar he walked straight over to me, giving me a big hug, asking if I wanted to go for a ride. The girls jaw dropped, and that's when I told her my name was Denise Gallinger, part of the Gallinger clan. Jeff and I went for that ride and many more. Jeff took me under his wing during my grade 12 year, and I am thankful for him and all the good memories. He always had a twinkle in this eyes and a great smile. He will be missed. Denise (cousin)

My condolences to the family. It’s not easy to cope with death. We feel helpless and our pain can be unbearable. There’s nothing we can do to bring that person back to life. But the Bible gives us a hope you can find by reading. (John 5:28;29) .” All those humans in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” This is what the Bible calls The resurrection. God can remove death forever, and that is what he will do very soon. May the God of all comfort gives strength and comfort to the family in this time of sorrow.
